Church & Community Involvement

Filling up a bottle with spare change is a small way to make an eternal difference in the lives of unborn babies and their mothers. You can easily participate by ordering baby bottles for your church, community group, or work place.

Material items are vital to FCWS’s Earn While You Learn program, through which our clients have to opportunity to be educated on their pregnancy and prepared for their baby’s arrival, while receiving material needs along the way. Gather a group at any time of year to throw a “Baby Shower” and collect items to donate to FCWS clients, while enjoying fellowship at a fun and worthwhile event.

Hold an event to raise awareness in your congregation about the movement for LIFE and how individuals and groups can get involved in the ministry.

Put on a special day for our client families with food, games, fellowship, and baby items to bring hope and encouragement to them as they prepare to bring life into the world. Family Fun Days are held on site at our Centers.

FCWS frequently gives gift sets to our clients. This is a great way to provide Earn While You Learn participants with items they need for their babies, help mothers through their pregnancy, and even help fathers get involved! Each January, First Coast Women’s Services and churches from around the community come together to celebrate the Sanctity of Human Life. We gather together for designated times of prayer and then churches participate in spreading awareness and praying for LIFE with their congregations on Sanctity of Life Sunday!

Want to educate and inspire your congregation or group to get involved in the fight for LIFE? First Coast Women’s Services will send a representative to briefly share about the mission of FCWS in our community at your service or special event. We are also happy to host an informational table at your service or event.

There is always work to be done around FCWS! Your church or group can hold a work day at one of our Centers to help out with various tasks. Frequently, work days include cleaning a Center so it’s in tip-top shape for clients, organizing our baby boutique donations, and sprucing up landscaping.
