Communications Coordinator

32 – 40 hrs per week

Description: There is a job opening for a Communications Coordinator, working under the Development Director, who will help develop and implement marketing strategies within the digital space for FCWS Annual Campaigns. This will be a full-time position.

The responsibilities of this position will include: Creating fundraising materials and e-mail content specific to appeal campaigns to motivate and inspire donors on behalf of FCWS; Building and executing a donor marketing plan (including social media, email marketing, print marketing, etc.); Pulling and compiling analytics, helping with database input, and other maintenance for online fundraising platform; Managing social postings on all social media platforms; and designing marketing and presentation materials for various events.

Telehealth Scheduler

Minimum 20  hrs per week

Willing to work 4-5 days per week. Shifts are 8:30am-1:30pm or 12:30pm-5:30pm.

Description: Bi-lingual strongly preferred. Telehealth Schedulers will have the primary responsibility of responding to incoming calls, texts, and emails from prospective clients seeking abortion information. Schedulers will report to the Call Center Director and will receive a yearly written and oral evaluation.

Donor Engagement Specialist – new position!

Description: The Donor Engagement Specialist is a key member of the development team, responsible for building and sustaining relationships with donors who have the potential to make significant contributions to support the mission and programs of First Coast Women’s Services. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of mid-level donors, with a goal of increasing philanthropic engagement and revenue for the organization.

Church and Community Engagement Coordinator – New position!

Description: Working under the FCWS Development Director, the Church and Community Engagement Coordinator will help plan, implement, and coordinate fundraising efforts and community activities to increase philanthropic support within a specified geographic area to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the organization.

Campus Education Coordinator – New position!

32 – 40 hrs per week

Description: The Campus Education Coordinator (CEC), in conjunction with the Volunteer & Training Director, will partner with local schools, colleges, and churches to increase prevention efforts among the school-aged population. Primarily, this role will provide evidence-based education to increase relationship skills and refusal skills to increase sexual health among students. Secondarily, this role will work within college campuses to strengthen and support college students who are like-minded with FCWS’s core values. This position will provide similar education activities with college-aged students in small group settings with the goal of educating and leading them well so that they can be positive examples of sexual health to younger peers.

Support Services Coordinator – New position!

Description: The role of the compassionate and resourceful Support Services Coordinator is to assist clients in accessing community resources and support services. In this role, you will work directly with clients to assess their needs, identify available resources, and coordinate support services focusing especially on those with immediate and critical needs. This position requires a deep understanding of available community resources, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to helping clients improve their quality of life.

Medical Team Member

Part Time

Description: First Coast Women’s Services is a faith-based organization with multiple pregnancy resource centers in Northeast Florida.  Medical Team Members work in conjunction with center staff to assure that patients are receiving the best medical, nursing, and psychosocial care possible and perform physical examinations such as limited obstetric ultrasound, pregnancy tests, etc., which are within their scope of practice.

A Medical Team Member may be placed as an RN in the Call Center (based out of Clay County) or may be trained to be a Sonographer (but must already have an RN license).

Must be willing to work 20 – 40 hours per week.
