First Coast Women’s Services is a non-profit dedicated to empowering women to make informed choices about their pregnancy. We offer free, confidential services such as: pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, telehealth support, parenting resources, adoption guidance, and post-abortion healing.  All our care is delivered in a Christ-centered environment and is funded entirely by community generosity.

Finance Assistant 

part time, 20-25 hours per week

Detail-oriented finance and administrative professional with experience in bookkeeping, data entry, QuickBooks management, and reconciliation support. Skilled in maintaining accurate financial records, handling confidential information with integrity, and supporting ministry operations with efficiency and a service-oriented mindset. Committed to excellence, reliability, and upholding Christian values in all aspects of financial stewardship. This position is based out of our kernan administrative office and is an in-person job.

  • Enter and categorize invoices, credit purchases, deposits, and financial transactions with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Support month-end and year-end processes through reconciliations, credit card audits, payroll assistance, and preparation of quarterly reports.

  • Maintain financial organization by managing accounts payable/receivable workflows and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

  • Efficient in database use and administrative support, including Virtuous procedures, documentation, and audit preparation.

  • Provide reliable support for fundraising and ministry operations while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and alignment with organizational values.

center director (mandarin center)

full time EXEMPT

The Center Director oversees the daily operations of a First Coast Women’s Services center, ensuring that every client, volunteer, and staff member experiences compassionate, Christ-centered care. This position combines leadership, administration, and ministry to manage programs, support volunteers, and represent the center within the community. The Director plays a vital role in maintaining excellence in client services, fostering spiritual growth among the team, and advancing the mission to uphold the value of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Oversee Daily Operations: Manage staff and volunteers, maintain schedules, and ensure smooth and effective center function aligned with FCWS’s mission and policies.

  • Spiritual Leadership: Foster a Christ-centered environment through daily prayer, devotion, and encouragement of the team’s spiritual growth.

  • Volunteer Training and Support: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers while ensuring high-quality client care and ongoing skill development.

  • Client Services Coordination: Oversee counseling, medical services, and client data management to ensure compassionate, accurate, and effective care.

  • Community and Church Engagement: Build and maintain partnerships with local churches, assist with development activities, and represent FCWS positively in the community.

Human Resource (HR) Manager (NEW!)

FULL TIME EXEMPT

The HR Manager at First Coast Women’s Services leads all human resource functions across multiple centers, ensuring a Christ-centered, mission-driven, and legally compliant workplace. This role supports a staff of approximately 50 by cultivating a healthy organizational culture, overseeing policies and procedures, and equipping employees to thrive.  This position is based out of our kernan administrative office and is an in-person job.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop hiring strategies, lead recruitment processes, and ensure smooth onboarding aligned with FCWS’s mission and culture.

  • Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a Christ-centered workplace, resolve conflicts, counsel staff biblically, and promote organizational values.

  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance: Administer benefits, oversee compensation structures, and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.

  • Performance & Development: Implement performance reviews, encourage professional growth, and provide training, leadership development, and succession planning.

  • HR Policies & Administration: Maintain HR policies and records, update employee handbook, manage HR systems, and provide reports to leadership and the board.

Communications Coordinator

Full time, 35-40 hours/week
Description: The Communications Coordinator supports the Development team by creating clear, compelling donor and client communications that advance the mission of First Coast Women’s Services. This role manages digital content, social media, and campaign messaging to ensure consistent, Christ-centered communication across platforms. This position is based out of our Kernan administrative office and is an in-person job.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage social media content and scheduling for donor and client platforms, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Support all Development events and major initiatives as an active, flexible team member, including being available to assist with preparation, execution, and follow-up as needed.

Community engagement coordinator

Full time, 32-40 hours/week
Description: The Community Engagement Coordinator builds and sustains meaningful relationships with mid-level donors to advance the mission of First Coast Women’s Services. This role focuses on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors through personalized engagement, strategic communication, and consistent follow-up, with the goal of increasing long-term support and partnership. This position is based out of our Kernan administrative office and is an in-person job.

Bilingual telehealth scheduler

Minimum 20  hrs per week

Willing to work 4-5 days per week. Shifts are 8:30am-1:30pm or 12:30pm-5:30pm.

Description: Bi-lingual required. Telehealth Schedulers will have the primary responsibility of responding to incoming calls, texts, and emails from prospective clients seeking abortion information. Schedulers will report to the Call Center Director and will receive a yearly written and oral evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontline Client Support: Responds to calls, texts, and emails from prospective clients seeking abortion information with compassion and truth, offering initial counseling and referrals as needed.

  • Appointment Coordination: Schedules virtual or in-person appointments and ensures accurate documentation and follow-up of all interactions.

  • Spiritual & Ministry Alignment: Participates in daily prayer, attends volunteer training, and upholds the mission and values of FCWS as a Christ-centered, pro-life ministry.

  • Administrative Tasks: Maintains call records, submits shift reports, performs data entry, and supports general Telehealth Center operations.

  • Skills & Experience: Requires strong communication, empathy, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; background in customer service or healthcare preferred.
