Dear Friends of First Coast,
Abortion leaves destruction in its wake, like the searing shards of shrapnel from an exploding bomb—irreversible, painful, and far-reaching. Representative Tracie Davis set off a ticking bomb last week that needs to be disengaged, when she filed a bill to repeal the 6-week abortion limitation in Florida. It is time for our prayer warriors to intercede, get involved, and invest as the battle over life continues in Florida. I wish women like Ms. Davis could fully understand the things we see and experience day to day at our centers, the unfulfilled promises of the abortion industry, and the mass destruction they leave in their wake.
First Coast Women’s Services has a Call Center that was birthed during COVID to reach the abortion-minded woman first — before she makes her decision. Our clients talk to a registered nurse who provides hope and shares fact-based, life-affirming care to help her choose life before she reaches an abortion provider.
But we have discovered something shocking: some women find our Call Center only after taking both abortion pills. These women, scared and alone, are in their bathrooms, cars, homes, wondering if the symptoms are supposed to be this severe, if the cramps are supposed to be this significant. These women often cannot get in touch with their abortion provider in their time of emergency. This is negligent.
Those trying to repeal the 6-week limit claim to support women’s health and safety, yet they neglect the women who are already in their care. You can see the heart of an organization by how they treat clients after payment has been collected, and the client has no recourse. These abortion providers who claim to care about women’s health leave women without counsel, left to guess what they should do, googling for answers. This is shameful. Thankfully, many find FCWS, and we can point them in the right direction medically while giving them compassionate care.

Ultimately though, we hope to find these women BEFORE they choose abortion, and we do this through client marketing. As we’ve increased our investment in client marketing, there has been a clear increase in babies saved through FCWS: in 2024, 1,506 babies were saved – a 26% increase from 2023.
In Duval County, we invest approximately $255/day to market towards the abortion-minded woman. Each surrounding county—Baker, Clay, and St. Johns—costs us approximately $85/day. A $500 donation would pay for one day of client marketing in all four counties we serve. Please prayerfully consider making a gift today to reach the abortion-minded woman before she gets in the hands of these unscrupulous abortion providers. I realize that some may feel especially passionate about reaching their own county. The more support we have, the more we can invest, the more babies are saved, and the more lives are transformed in Northeast Florida.
Last year, 3,608 documented abortions were performed in Northeast Florida. There are still more lives to be saved and more women to reach. Help us to reach her before she is influenced by an industry that does not care about her health or the future of her child.
Grace and peace,
Jennifer R. Pace
