All things. Every atom and molecule in the universe was created through Jesus Christ. That means every life, from conception, is the creation of the Son of God. There are no accidents from God’s perspective. He does everything on purpose.
All things. Not only was everything created through Jesus but also for Him. That means that every life was created for a purpose. That purpose is for the glory of God in Christ Jesus. There are no useless people. Everyone is worthy of life because Jesus made every one of them for Himself.
These two categories, through Him and for Him, put all of our work for the sanctity of life into perspective. This is not our cause. It is God’s. The King of Kings is the Author of Life and all life is for Him.
We believe in the value of human life because Jesus has put His stamp on every person. We pray for the cause of life to triumph and know that our prayers are according to the will of God. We work for a culture of life because we know Who life is ultimately for; our Lord and Savior.
In 2016 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 weeks after we found out she was pregnant with our first child. We knew there would likely be pressure from doctors to terminate the pregnancy. For us that was never an option. Thankfully God gave us amazing doctors and nurses who took our son into account in every decision.
The last eight years have been full of difficulty and joy, worry and gladness. God has been so gracious. We have been reminded over and over again that we are not in charge of our own lives. We have been brought back to the cross and the empty tomb to remember the victory that Jesus won for us over death and the grave. Through it all we have been shown that all things were created through him and for him.
