Your Prayers MATTER

At First Coast Women’s Services, we are ardent believers in the power of prayer. In fact, we have seen statistical evidence of the power of prayer through our Prayer Text Team (see below). We also have watched God open doors no man can shut to increase our influence in the Jacksonville area through new centers, our new telehealth program, and bringing us incredible volunteers, donors, and supporters to help us in our mission.

We ask that you please join us in praying for our community, for the clients we see, and for the staff and volunteers of First Coast Women’s Services.

Join the Prayer Text Team

When First Coast Women’s Services first introduced the Prayer Text Team back in 2011, we saw an undeniable uptick in the number of babies saved. The increase in the number of babies saved with the introduction of the prayer texts was comparable to the introduction of a new center!

When you join our Prayer Text Team, you will receive messages asking for urgent prayer for a client that is actively in our center or who has just left one of our centers. These women and their babies need prayer NOW, and when we unite in our prayers, we see the hand of God move mightily on our behalf and on behalf of the families we serve. In order to keep client confidentiality, the initials used in our prayer texts are not her real initials. Minimal information is given in order to maintain confidentiality while also allowing people to understand and pray for the need.

The “Number of Babies Saved” chart (left) shows that from 2011 to 2013, the number of babies saved in the greater Jacksonville area doubled! The only difference? We introduced our Prayer Text Team!

Your prayers have impact. Whether you are able to volunteer or donate or not, we covet your prayers most of all. It has statistically proven to be one of the most impactful things we can do to save the lives of babies in our community.
